Robbers Stone

Robbers Bridge is an old narrow road bridge over the Oare Water. It is reputed to be the site of a Doone robbery. There is a boardwalk suitable for wheelchair users alongside Weir Water. It is a perfect location for a quiet picnic. It is located on a narrow road from Oare church where Lorna Doone was married to John Ridd and was shot by Carver Doone.
