Practical Information
- The Coleridge Way covers a variety of terrain, some of which can be very muddy after heavy rain.
- Some areas of the route, particularly Lype Hill and Dunkery, are remote and subject to rapid changes in the weather.
- They should not be attempted when visibility is poor.
- You should wear walking boots and have appropriate clothing with you at all times.
- If gates are shut please ensure that you shut them after you have gone through.
- Please keep dogs under close control especially when close to farm animals.
- Please exercise extreme care when crossing main roads and walking along country lanes.
- Be aware that your mobile phone may not work on some sections of the route.
- There are, inevitably, many ups and downs as you go from village to village along The Coleridge Way.
- Total height gained along the whole 51 miles is 2879 metres.
