About

Snowdrop Valley returns for 2026! Visitors will be able to come and view the wonderful display of snowdrops every day from Saturday 24th January – Sunday 22nd February 2026.

There are various walking routes for visitors to enjoy, the most popular being the shorter walks, which are approximately 1 mile down to the valley and looping back uphill for a further mile. Maps of the walks will be available from the parking kiosk, staffed from 9.00 – 4.00 each day.

The main parking will be at the Cutcombe Cattle Market (TA24 7DT) car park, the charge is £5.00 per car (which includes a map), £10.00 per minibus and £30.00 per coach. Cash and card payments accepted.  The road down to Snowdrop Valley is closed to all vehicles (other than permit holders) during the event dates.  Alternative Parking on Market Days: there are market days at the Cutcombe Cattle Market. This year, these are on Wednesdays 4th, 11th and 18th February, Snowdrop visitors will not be able to park here. Alternative parking is at the Rest and Be Thankful car park. Signage will be in place.

There will be the Snowdrop Valley Café open in the valley itself at the weekends from the 31st January and then daily during the half term holiday. Opening times 11am-2pm. This is raising funds for Friends of Cutcombe & Exford Schools.

Visitors need to be aware it’s winter, we’ve had a lot of rain here on Exmoor and the paths are muddy. Suitable sturdy footwear is required.

Please see the Snowdrop Valley website for all details and contact information, as well as their social media, where any key updates will be shared.

The Snowdrop Valley team look forward to seeing you there!
