Dunkery Beacon is Exmoor’s (and Somerset’s) highest point at 519 metres and features a Bronze Age cairn. On a clear day it offers panoramic 360-degree views of the Bristol Channel, Wales, Exmoor and Dartmoor. It’s well worth the climb!
The beacon is accessed on foot from parking available at Dunkery Hill Gate (just over half a mile walk) or Webbers Post (around a 4-5 mile walk).
