A short walk brings you to the picturesque villages of Bossington, Allerford and Porlock. The famous South West Coast Path passes by, just ten minutes stroll away. Wonderful evening meals can be had in the village of Porlock just a mile away, or just have a cheese and biscuits meal from the buffet.

Refurbished to a high standard, the house abounds with period charm, yet has the modern trappings you would expect from a luxurious country home. Sleeping 20 in 9 bedrooms, each with a private or en-suite bathroom and the vast Master Bedroom is spectacular. Fast Starlink WIFI is available throughout. Each B and B room has a 50” Smart HD TV. You have exclusive use of a private sauna and wellness suite (booking required). The spacious lounge has fantastic views of the moors, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine from the “Cine-Bar”.

Outside, the 8 acres of informal gardens and woodlands include the oldest private squash court in England, and a hard tennis court, close to the tranquil mill pond and waterfall. There is also a badminton court and the beautiful water garden to enjoy! More than your average B and B!

Bossington Hall also has a wheelchair accessible luxury apartment. Allerford view, (all our rooms are named after local ‘waters’) is an En-Suite room, with a zip-and-link superking or twin bed. The wetroom bathroom is entirely Travertine marble lined, with plenty of space around the facilities, and lots of grab handles. The spacious kitchen is well equipped, but is NOT adapted. Exmoor is full of things to do, from flying hawks horse riding, fly fishing coasteering walking, zoo (with the Exmoor Beast!), kayaking sea fishing to name but a few. Porlock (1.5 miles) is well stocked, with two small supermarkets, three pubs, a hardware shop, art gallery, ancient church and more.
