Two luxury shepherd’s huts with wood fired hot tub nestled amongst orchard trees in the beautiful Porlock Vale.  Also *NEW* in 2023 – a Yurt which sleeps 2 people!

Nestled in an orchard on a working Exmoor farm in the beautiful Porlock Vale lies Orchard Escapes Exmoor. Set on the National Trust’s 12,000-acre Holnicote Estate, Orchard Escapes Exmoor offers you a true glamping experience – a chance to immerse yourself the delights of nature, toast marshmallows on an open fire, dine alfresco, soak in a wood fired hot tub yet have the luxury of a comfortable bed & a private heated shower room.

Only 5 minutes from the spectacular Exmoor coast, Orchard Escapes Exmoor is a fantastic base for exploring all Exmoor’s delights. There are many amazing walks & cycle paths on the doorstep, with the beautiful chocolate box villages of Selworthy, Bossington and Horner only a 20-minute walk away. The village of Dunster with its castle and watermill is only a 10-minute drive and Porlock Weir and Lynton & Lynmouth within 20 minutes.

The two off-grid shepherd’s huts provide a chance to escape from technology with just a radio, books & board games for entertainment. Solar power runs lights & a fridge whilst the wood burning stove keeps you warm on cooler nights.

Each hut has a double bed with luxurious cotton bedding, a sofa and gas hob for basic cooking. All cooking equipment, cutlery, glasses & crockery is provided. Your own private heated shower room is located just 30 metres away with Faith in Nature toiletries included. Mains tap water & washing up facilities are also located here.

Outside the hut there is a table & chairs for alfresco dining, your very own firepit & with grill for delicious BBQ’s & snuggling around on cool evenings. One hut comes with a private wood fired hot tub with logs and bathrobes included.

We also offer the option of providing you with locally sourced breakfast hampers & BBQ packs at an additional cost. Full information given on booking.

The new Yurt is open April-October and sleeps 2 people. It offers an outdoor kitchen & dining area and a private wood fired hot tub.  Up to 2 dogs welcome (additional charge).  A complimentary breakfast hamper for the first morning.  Cost £150 per night -minimum 2 night stay.
