Westerclose House Cottages and B&B are situated in a glorious, elevated position above the historic village of Withypool in the very heart of Exmoor National Park. Set in its own grounds, Westerclose enjoys wonderful views over the River Barle valley and surrounding moorland. We are an accredited dark skies location – perfect for stargazing all year round.

Westerclose offers dog-friendly accommodation and is an ideal base for walking, riding, cycling and fishing. We have four comfortable holiday cottages, an apartment and B&B ensuite bedrooms situated around a peaceful courtyard setting. The cottages each have private gardens and there is plenty of parking. We are only a five-minute stroll from the excellent Royal Oak pub, the very well stocked village shop and riverside tea rooms.

There are numerous walks, bridleways and cycle rides to enjoy directly from your accommodation. Dogs and horses are very welcome and we have excellent horse facilities with exceptional riding country all around us.

The fabulous North Devon coastline with its wonderful sandy beaches is only 40 minutes’ drive away and the market towns of Dunster, Dulverton and South Molton are a short drive from Withypool.
