Set in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, yet just over a mile up into the hills above the lovely, small market town of Dulverton, Stockham Farm is an ideal dog-friendly location from which to explore Exmoor.

There is a choice of two luxury self-catering holiday cottages at Stockham Farm. The Victorian Wing cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms and The Piggery sleeps six in three bedrooms. Both are situated on the farm in a truly stunning Exmoor setting – with stylish décor, jaw-dropping views and tranquillity guaranteed.

The Victorian Wing cottage is completely self-contained and has a large sitting room with an inglenook fireplace, two bedrooms (one superking/twin and one king), a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room and one bathroom. The Piggery is a sympathetically converted former Exmoor stone barn with a spacious sitting/dining room, three bedrooms (one twin and two king), a large fully fitted kitchen and two bathrooms.

Each cottage has its own private garden area with panoramic views, including tables, chairs and bbqs, and guests in both cottages are also welcome to explore the farm’s 35 acres, where you will find horses, Exmoor Horn sheep and abundant wildlife, including rare Red Deer which come right up to the pond to drink on summer evenings.

With spectacular views over the Exe Valley, both properties have been recently refurbished to an extremely high standard and offer every luxury, including dishwashers, washing machines, woodburning stoves, underfloor heating, smart TVs, books, games and excellent wifi.

Nearby Dulverton is a marvellous holiday destination – ‘the Gateway to Exmoor’ – a delightful small town with dog-friendly award-winning pubs and restaurants, many independent shops, butcher, baker, delicatessen, Co-Op and more; and all within a short journey of Exmoor’s picturesque villages and North Devon’s glorious beaches.

We are pleased to welcome a maximum of two dogs per cottage to stay at Stockham Farm; and we have recently been awarded British Horse Society ‘Horses Welcome’ Accreditation, so bring your horses too! With easy access to the open moorland and wooded river valleys of Exmoor, Stockham Farm is an unparalleled location for walkers, dog owners and horse riders.
