Come and stay at East Quay, an arts centre in the heart of Watchet, situated on the harbourside in the picturesque harbour town in Somerset. There are five extraordinary and bespoke accommodation pods, each with fabulous views of the surrounding coast and countryside.

Pod 1 is Object Exchange, which sleeps 2 and has stunning views of the town and sea. Objects are arranged on shelves for guests to take and leave.

Pod 2 is Stories and Imagination and sleeps 4. The walls are etched with the stories of Watchet’s past, present, and future. Pod 2 is accessible for someone in a wheelchair.

Pod 3 is Luxury Industrial; it sleeps 2 and has a bathtub on its mezzanine floor looking out to sea.

Pod 4 the Playful Pod, sleeps 2 and has a cargo net, a code to crack and a rainbow-coloured bathroom.

Pod 5 is East Quay’s Participatory Art. It sleeps 2 and its interiors change annually, designed and made by an artist in residence

As part of your stay, you can also enjoy exhibitions in the two contemporary art galleries, visit 14 creative businesses including painters, a paper mill making artisan paper and a print studio. You can enjoy the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant either inside or outside in the courtyard within the heart of the building. Events run throughout the year, with family focussed events taking place throughout the school holidays.
