We welcome audiences young and old, to join us for evenings of laughter, fun, food and drink. Bring your picnic, bring your chairs and prepare for floor stomping music, A PooP-PooP! and slapstick galore as this troupe of clowns reinvent the family classic for today’s audiences.

Artistic Director, Matthew Emeny says: “After what has been a terrible year across the arts industry, it is a pleasure to gain the backing from Stage One and our producers, to recreate a family classic for our modern audiences. Right now, we need to laugh, and that is what we do at Calf 2 Cow, we create craziness. We can’t wait to celebrate the reopening of theatres with all our audience members across the country!”

WIND IN THE WILLOWS

A summer afternoon in Wild Wood, while the animals sat, ate picnics and played with their friends, a mischievous ‘poop poop’ echoed in the trees. Join Mole, Ratty and Badger in a floor stomping, live music, hilarious re-telling of this woodland adventure as they save Toad and his shiny new motorcar from deep trouble. Award-winning theatre company, Calf2Cow, brings you the outdoor theatrical experience of the summer in a retelling of Kenneth Grahame’s classic story: The Wind In The Willows.

THE SHOWS STYLE

Calf 2 Cow, established in 2019 create unique storytelling experiences. Based in Bath, their work has won awards across film and theatre. Ranging from Horror to family Christmas shows, their work always has an element of clowning, slapstick, audience participation and music.

This adaption of The Wind in The Willows keeps completely true to the text as our four band members through storytelling, music and multi rolling, bring the book alive. Expect lots of falling over, people cramming into cars that are too small, and of course, water fights by the river.
