Just a few miles inland, in the heart of the rural Somerset, you’ll find this tranquil spot. As soon as you pull in past the lake and hear the birdsong, you start to relax. Sandy Glade is a breath of fresh air. It’s a big site, but not overwhelming and the real standout here is the team that genuinely cares. The budget chalets can sleep up to six (plus dogs) and are great value, or treat yourself to a log cabin with a hot tub overlooking the Somerset countryside, serenaded by birdsong.
