Whatever the time of the year Exmoor always offers a range of experiences. these range from the unique and iconic things such as staring up at the Milky Way within Europe’s first Dark Sky reserve to glimpsing the elegant Red deer herds roaming the moors. But other experiences are simple everyday delights. Who doesn’t love a muddy puddle or two – especially when you’re 18months old!

This year’s Snowdrop Valley was fantastic for our daughter. If the adventure of winding our way down the steep valley on a bus before walking through ancient woodlands on a carpet of snowdrops was the icing on the cake, then the cherry on top was the opportunity to splash in puddles as we went along our way!

A great experience, in a magical valley – now just another 11 months to wait until we can do it again next February.
