Wringcliff Bay

Wringcliff Bay

Wringcliff Bay is a small beach, a mix of sand and shingle with large boulders on either side. It nestles beneath the towering cliffs that form the backdrop to the Valley of Rocks and as such it is accessible on foot only following a steep trail.

The effort to reach the beach is richly rewarded with the drama and beauty of this hidden beach – and you will often have it to yourself. The path leads down from the roundabout in the centre of the Valley of Rocks and provides stunning views of the rugged coastline – so there are plenty of excuses to take a breather when you finally peel yourself away from the beach and start the steep climb back up!
