Surfside Kayak Hire is the longest established kayak hire and tour company in the North Devon. Established in 2008, we are proud to be the only kayak and water sport provider in North Devon to be awarded a Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Award in 2020.
Surfside Kayak Hire is located in the seaside village of Combe Martin nestled in the western edge of Exmoor. All our kayak guides are British canoeing trained and qualified paddle sport leaders with over 30 years’ experience in sea kayaking and adventure sports.
Our kayak tours start with a 1-hour mini tour suitable for beginners and families with younger children. Our most popular tour is a 2-hour scenic paddle along our stunning coastline visiting many secluded coves, beaches and sea caves. Tours are tailored to your ability and are suitable for all ages.
Your guide will point out all points of interest along the way. We have regular sightings of local wildlife including seals, porpoise, sunfish and even dolphins! The local birdlife includes oyster catchers, fulmers and peregrine falcons.
We provide changing facilities onsite and all equipment is included in the price of the tour. We have the latest kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for hire. We offer bespoke private tours for birthdays, hen and stag parties.
In our retail shop we have the largest selection of fishing tackle in the area.
Our commitment to customer care is unparalleled, we work tirelessly to ensure you have the best possible, safe, and memorable experience.
