Things to do near Tiverton

As an ancient town and one of the largest in the area, there are plenty of things to do near Tiverton! Visit the Grand Western Canal to see the famous horse-drawn barges, or join one of the many countryside routes that are ideal for walkers and cyclists. Drop in to Tiverton’s weekly markets to taste the best produce Exmoor has to offer, or visit popular family attractions such as Tiverton Museum, Tiverton Castle, or Knightshayes Court. 

Local events include Tivvy Fest in June, and in the July; the Mid Devon Show, Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival, Feast of St James and Two Rivers Fesitval.
