Wild & Well at Wistlandpound Reservoir

Join South West Lakes’ rangers at Wistlandpound Reservoir on Friday 3 June for a family-friendly delve into how the natural world can support and nourish us in these busy times.

Activities on offer will include how to forage safely for edible and medicinal plants, cooking healthy snacks over the fire, short guided walks finding out about birds, bugs, and trees, some sensory activities to calm the mind and feed the soul, and a bunch of art and craft activities to dive into.

Pre-booking is essential. The session runs from 10am-1pm.

£2 for adults and £3 for children.

This event is part of the Connecting Communities project, which aims to help local people better connect and gain more from their local green and blue spaces. The Connecting Communities project is funded by the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm’s-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.
