Lower Holworthy Farm are delighted to announce they will be hosting a number of Dark Skies Events for 2023!
There are two winter events on Saturday 14th January and Saturday 25th February and two summer events on Saturday 17th June and Saturday 15th July.
Dark Sky events at Lower Holworthy Farm, overlooking the beautiful Wimbleball Lake, have become hugely popular with lots of visitors keen to come learn more about the incredible starscape. With Exmoor National Park being a Dark Sky Reserve, you are really in for a treat!
You’ll have a fun evening with Jo Richardson, a Professional Space Educationalist, and founder of Space Detectives www.spacedetectives.com.
The evenings start at 6.30 p.m. with hot drinks on arrival, followed by a welcome and presentation by Jo in the studio. You’ll then have the chance to look at the stars via telescope and see the magnificent night skies for yourself.
All events are followed by supper in the farmhouse. Accommodation is also available in the farmhouse.
Contact Gillian Payne on 01398 371244 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further details and to book your places.
