About LGBT Travel Club
The LGBT Travel Club is an online community designed to help share and promote travel destinations within the United Kingdom and Europe to the LGBTQ+ communities. The LGBT Travel Club aims in the long term, to become a one stop online directory for LGBTQ+ travellers and LGBTQ+ friendly destinations and businesses.
The LGBT Travel Club was founded by Chris Baker. Chris is passionate about travelling and sharing travel information, experiences, tips and suggestions. The Everyone is Welcome campaign was developed by Chris to promote safe, friendly and inclusive travel.
LGBTQ+ Community Travel Insights
- The LGBTQ+ community’s purchasing power in the UK (or the pink pound) is currently estimated to be in excess of £6 billion per year.
- Year on year, the LGBTQ+ communities have the largest percentage increase in disposable income to spend on holidays and travel.
- The majority of the LGBTQ+ communities are not tied down to travelling during the peak periods of the year, specifically school holidays, so an ideal market to promote to during the shoulder and off-peak seasons.
