The Royal Oak Exmoor is the original and the oldest of all the Royal Oaks in the area. Originally a 12th Century Farmhouse it has a fascinating history and today it’s a traditional Country Inn with 4 star accommodation.

The Royal Oak Exmoor offers the highest quality home cooked food 5 evenings a week (and Friday, Saturday & Sunday Lunchtimes).  We have 10 beautiful en-suite bedrooms which include Super Kings, Kings, and Twins, and a fabulous grade 2 listed thatched cottage located 50m away which sleeps up to 8 people.

We love dogs, all well behaved are more than welcome – and yes doggies can go in most areas of the pub and hotel.
