About

Surrounded by idyllic Exmoor scenery, on the border of Somerset and Devon, this tranquil base in the Doone Valley is brilliant for walkers and families exploring the area.

For the ultimate in chilled-out locations, set up camp in the legendary Lorna Doone Valley, where your neighbours could include buzzards and red deer, and listen to Badgworthy Water flowing peacefully behind your tent. Head out onto the South West Coast Path from the moor to take in the fantastic scenery.

Cloud Farm is a dreamy location where you and your fellow campers can make yourselves at home on the lush grass of this tranquil spot. Choose a pitch right by Badgworthy Water and enjoy wildlife-spotting, as well as the stunning views of the border between Somerset and Devon. The campsite has 8 electric hook ups for campervans and motorhomes. You can charge your electric car or bike. You’ll also find an indoor washing-up area, toilets and a shower trailer on site. An onsite shop sells basic food supplies and camping essentials and if you don’t fancy cooking, then check out our breakfast selection in the shop or pop down to The National Trust Buttery Tearoom at Malmsmead for a lunchtime treat.
