Calling all Exmoor Producers!
You are invited to participate in the Taste of Exmoor taking place in the House of Commons on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.
The Taste of Exmoor Westminster event is a unique opportunity to showcase Exmoor produce and products in the House of Commons to an audience of 200-300 including, Members of Parliament, House of Lords members and their staff. In addition representatives from House of Commons Catering and House of Commons Retail Shop will be invited to meet with producers and retailers.
This is a significant promotional opportunity for Exmoor and for your business – we will be taking every opportunity to promote the event via our own promotional channels and will seek media engagement from both local and national media outlets as an additional means of boosting Exmoor’s profile as the place to visit in 2023.
This event is also supported by GWR trains who have provided vouchers to support our providers in attending the event.
Our aim is that the event will be the ultimate celebration of the very best that Exmoor has to offer. As a supplier/producer, you will have space on a table, be encouraged to offer samples, make linkages to drive and secure online sales, network and promote your business amongst a 200-300 strong audience including, Members of Parliament, House of Lords members and their staff.
Our Exmoor MPs, representing Bridgwater and West Taunton and North Devon –Ian Liddell-Grainger and Selaine Saxby have come together to invite our producers to this event highlighting Exmoor as a visitor destination with a wealth of interesting, artisanal retailers.
The event is set to take place from 12pm – 3pm on Wednesday 22nd February 2023, directly after Prime Minister’s Questions which we hope will ensure maximum footfall within the House of Commons so there is optimal interest and footfall.
What do I need to do?
Attendance would be required from 10am – 4pm for setting up and closing down of stalls. Suppliers will be responsible for shipping their products and promotional material for the event. We will send you supplementary information for setup and how to transport items securely to site once you have confirmed.
