Things to do near Watchet

The town has been a busy sea port for more than 1000 years. Two museums, Watchet Market House Museum and Watchet Boat Museum provide insights into the town’s maritime heritage.  Steam trains, on the restored West Somerset Railway can be boarded from Watchet station.

An attractive pleasure marina now fills the ancient harbour. The town’s other attractions include art galleries, local craft shops, a weekly market, restaurants and prize-winning real ale and cider pubs.
