Find a Lost Village on Exmoor

This walk visits the abandoned village of Clicket. Clicket was once a thriving community in a secluded Exmoor valley but became deserted at the end of the 19th century. Remains of its buildings and bridges can still be seen today. This walk starts in the quiet village of Kingsbridge, to the west of Wheddon Cross. It follows footpaths and quiet country lanes to reach Clicket in a small wooded valley. The walk continues over Croydon Hill passing through forestry with the occasional wide views. The walk then descends back to the start.
