Prior to the pandemic, Richard had run Discovery Safaris for 15 years offering informative and exciting off-road tours across Exmoor.

However, he wanted to do something different, yet still had a desire to inform people of Exmoor, so sought to purchase a car with some style, uniqueness and most of all history.  After lots of searching Harold was found; a 1939 Morris 12/4 series 3 classic car who’d been used to transport pilots during WW2 and was now 84 years old!

He’s not been used regularly for many years, so needed some attention re-building the brake system and engine work in order to pass an MOT.  Additionally, he had to have seatbelts fitted front and rear to meet the conditions for private hire vehicles and be approved by the council.
