Exmoor's High Achievers

Tarr Farm Inn at Tarr Steps, in Exmoor National Park, is one of two UK inns to achieve a highly commended five star grading from the AA, placing it in the top ten per cent of all accommodation providers in the country.

Having started some ten years ago as a rural cafe and tea room close to the idyllic Tarr Steps on the River Barle, the inn has been significantly improved in recent years and now provides top quality accommodation for up to 16 guests and a highly renowned restaurant.

Amongst other Exmoor accommodation providers to receive highly commended gradings were two B&Bs on the coast at Minhead: Glendower House and Kenella House both of which have four yellow stars. Kenella House was also placed within the top 15 finalists for the AA national Landlady of the Year 2007 Award.
