Our Visit Exmoor website accommodation availability search platform has just launched, and is already receiving about 60 searched a day, equating to 22k over the year. This is a huge step forward. If you are a Visit Exmoor accommodation provider member (all types of accommodation), please don’t miss out, this is included in your membership fee and a brilliant tool connecting potential visitors directly with your own booking platform and is limited to members only. The search allows you to search live availability across the area for a specific date. It is designed to be simple to use and easy to join. It is a search system which then directs the search to your specific booking platform to make the actual booking without incurring any additional commission. Free opportunities to develop and promote your tourism and hospitality business on the Somerset and Exmoor coast from Brean to Porlock
Connect with people like you by coming to one of our networking meetings designed exclusively for coastal tourism and hospitality businesses. More than 90 businesses have already attended a networking meeting and have told us it’s “Always helpful to get together with other like-minded businesses. The aim is to bring together like-minded professionals who are passionate about promoting the Somerset and Exmoor coast. All tourism businesses are welcome. We are producing a passport for the Somerset Exmoor Coast Path which has spaces in it for visitors to collect souvineer stamps. If you are located right on the path you could promote your business as a stamping point, it’s free. The idea is to get those walking the trail to visit businesses along the route, collect a stamp, hopefully take a photo and share of social media using the #SomersetExmoorCoast tag and spend some time and money with you.
