VisitEngland Business Recovery Webinar Programme

VisitEngland’s have developed a free webinar programme. New topics and dates are being regularly added, check to see the webinars available. With the UK travel industry being forced to evolve in response to a constantly changing landscape, the webinars are designed to give practical insight and valuable information from within VisitBritain/VisitEngland and across the wider travel industry. Launching Bounce Back Digital  - Webinars and Short Courses 

Bounce Back Digital is a free programme of webinars and short courses for small businesses to help trading during Covid-19. With more businesses moving online, businesses can learn about; collaboration tools and channels to reach customers, learn how to set up their own e-commerce website, how to use Worldpay, Stripe & other payment gateways, digital photography & how to use video, plus how to keep their business secure online. Visit Somerset Webinar Events Programme

Visit Somerset have kindly invited Visit Exmoor members and associate members to join a series of industry webinars designed to support tourism and hospitality business during COVID-19 recovery, these webinars are also supported by Weston College. Please check back here for upcoming webinars and recordings of previous webinars.
The first webinar was held on Friday 19th June for accommodation providers. This was hosted by Alistair Handyside MBE Chairman of the SW Tourism Alliance and Self-Catering business specialist and Mark Tobin director at the SBAW Hotel and Leisure Group, talking about COVID 19 compliance for Self-Catering and Hotels in readiness for opening. Exmoor Virtual Visitor Survey

Exmoor National Park has conducted an online virtual visitor survey to ascertain views in light of the Covid-19 impacts.  See the full report here. 

WishTrip Global Insights Survey

During the height of the Coronavirus pandemic, WishTrip conducted a study to assess people’s attitudes about travel and leisure activities. The survey was conducted over a two week period in late April - early May. This survey aimed to get a snapshot into public attitudes towards returning to travel and leisure. VisitBritain Covid-19 Consumer Sentiment Tracker

VisitBritain has commissioned a weekly tracking survey to understand domestic intent to take short breaks and holidays. The survey will address: the likelihood of U.K. residents to travel; when and where they plan to go; specific trip details such as accommodation type and activities undertaken and the type of reassurances they're seeking from the sector.

Camping in a Post-Coronavirus World conducted an anonymous survey of 7,021 campers over a 24 hour period on the 27th and 28th May to help understand their expectations and concerns for camping in 2020. Read the survey results here.

North Devon Tourism Survey

An online toursim survey was launched to North Devon residents from 4th-7th May. There were 1031 submissions received. Please find here the report and analysis from this survey.

If so please ensure you let us know at and we will add your service details to our Visit Exmoor website listings please include any opening hours, delivery areas and any click and collect details that apply. We are now including garden centres and will continue to gather details for local businesses reopening, in line with Government guideance, as they do so.
