Simonsbath Festival

Simonsbath Festival - 6 May to 21 June

Celebrating Music, Art, Talks & Walks on Exmoor from May Day to Midsummer

The Festival begins with the colourful May Day celebration on the green in Exford, the main venue for our variety of concerts and talks is in the intimate St. Luke’s church in Simonsbath with its excellent acoustics. There are also a series of guided walks in conjunction with the Exmoor Society taking place over a wide area of Exmoor.

Festival profits go to support a variety of good causes including the Simonsbath Festival ‘Music in Schools' programme which is led by Paul Wilson from Wren Music, a Folk and Community Arts organisation. The 'Music in Schools' programme is all-important for the four schools within Exmoor at a time when the Arts are being axed from school curriculums all over the UK. Simonsbath Festival culminates in a collective Midsummer performance by the children at Wheddon Cross.

See the Festival Website for the individual events on each day.
