RHS Garden Rosemoor’s Winter Sculpture Exhibition & Glow Event

More artists than ever before will transform RHS Garden Rosemoor in Great Torrington, Devon, this winter, as approximately 100 sculptures are installed for the return of the Winter Sculpture Exhibition. Open now until – Mon 31 Jan 2022!

RHS Rosemoor’s winter landscape offers the perfect setting in which to enjoy the work of 27 sculptors from across the UK, including local artists from the West Country. Created using a wide range of materials and techniques, each piece complements the bare bones of the garden on display in the winter months, bringing structural elements to the fore. The sculptures in the trail range from fluid and hypnotic installations, altered by the elements, to innovative, large-scale pieces that have won national acclaim.

New for this year, 34 of the sculptures will be lit as part of the Glow illuminated light trail. You won’t want to miss Silvanus by Marie Boyle, a sight to behold sitting in woodland and bathed in light and smoke, or Connected by Ed Elliott, which highlights the interconnectedness of humans and nature.

Emma Thompson, Site Manager at RHS Garden Rosemoor, says, ‘Each year the Winter Sculpture Exhibition transforms the gardens, enhancing the natural landscape and instilling in visitors a sense of awe and wonder. We’re thrilled to be inviting more artists than ever to take part in this year’s exhibition, adding to the beauty of the gardens and inspiring us all to look at the landscape in an entirely new light.’
