Join our experienced National Park staff and Young Rangers for a memorable outdoor adventure. Based around our remote Pinkery Centre for Outdoor Learning, with stunning wild landscape and some of the lowest levels of light pollution in the country, on a clear night you’ll see thousands of stars.

Wear warm outdoor clothing and suitable sturdy footwear.

Come and learn about our dark skies and enjoy guided stargazing (weather permitting) and a night walk around this magnificent rural landscape under the guidance of astronomer Jo Richardson. In addition to an indoor presentation and outdoor session learning all about the stars and the universe, you’ll also learn fun new bushcraft and outdoor skills from our National Park staff supported by our Young Rangers.
