Gorse Cottage

Spacious cottage in the beautiful village of Withypool in the heart of Exmoor National Park, close to the River Barle. Sleeps 6. Dogs welcome.

Gorse Cottage is on a corner above two little lanes each heading onto the moors that surround the village. There is bright, family-sized kitchen/dining-room opening  onto the patio at the back of the cottage, a comfortable sitting-room with wood-burner, and a large double en suite bedroom all on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one which can be king-size or twins and the other a twin, and a shower-room.

The cottage is just a short walk from the River Barle, perfect for children on sunny days.  There are lots of lovely walks from Withypool.  Withypool has a shop/post office, the Withypool Tea Rooms and the Royal Oak- all just a short walk away.

Exmoor has a rugged beauty and there is much to explore in its wooded valleys and on the open moor.  Come and see for yourself!
