The Post & Sorting Office has been based in its current location – on Fore Street – since 1905.

The PO provides a full range of postal services, plus cash and cheque banking for 27 of the country’s biggest and smaller banks, cash withdrawals, foreign currency orders, plus Euros and Dollars on demand. They also handle motor vehicle licensing and fishing licensing plus a huge range of other Royal Mail services.
