Award winning restaurant Duende – fresh, seasonal and local food.

Duende is what happens when a local food hero gets to work with seasonal West Country produce. Chef Patron Tim Zekki brings food that is casual in style, and fine in provenance. The vibe is modern and unpretentious.

Zekki’s food is modern British, but borrows from his Cypriot upbringing, with influences from the Mediterranean. He uses some of the best produce to be found in the local surrounding countryside. The menu is complemented with wines, spirits and local beers.

There are seasonal tasting menus in the evenings, with optional wine pairing flights, and an al a carte menu at lunchtime.

Duende opened in October 2017, in the heart of the historic market town Wiveliscombe on the edge of Exmoor. Duende is in a Georgian listed building, combining the traditional with contemporary.

Duende won Somerset Life Restaurant of Year 2018 in its first Year of opening, plus a Gold award from Taste of the West.
