Porlock Visitor Centre
Porlock Visitor Centre
Situated in the old school the Porlock Visitor Centre is a great place to break your journey. In the grounds are the Coleridge Memorial Gardens dedicated to Coleridge.
Created by local artists and craftsmen they include a feature on the famous poem Kubla Khan and includes an arch way into the garden, a mosaic wall montage and a lovely picnic table.
At just over halfway along the route Porlock offers lots to do if you fancy a rest day and the Visitor centre can advise. But even if you’re pushing on call in to sign the Coleridge Way log book.
