Holworthy Farmhouse has 5 rooms, all en-suite, with stunning views of Wimbleball Lake and the rolling hills of Exmoor. Part of the farmhouse is over 200 years old with an extension added 25 years ago which has a delightful dining room overlooking the garden and a conservatory for guests to relax in. The guests cosy sitting room is in the old part of the house and has a log burner which is lit in the evenings.
Wimbleball Lake is a short walk down a private lane which is ideal for fishermen or walkers and a stroll after dinner. Dinner is optional with prior notice and on warm summers evenings coffee is served in the garden. Holworthy Farmhouse is a designated Dark Skies Friendly Accredited venue and there is a studio where guests can observe the night skies with hot drink facilities and a patio for telescopes. A Dark Sky evening can be arranged with prior notice.
We have a wheelchair friendly downstairs room. We do not allow dogs in the house accept guide dogs. For the fishermen there is a gutting area and a deep freeze. Packed lunches are available with prior notice. All dietary requirements can be arranged with notice at time of booking.
