Don't miss out on a great day of FREE networking and the chance to pick up information, tips and advice that could really help your business. Do join us for the AGM and presentations (11:30 - 1pm) lunch* (1 - 2pm) or come along to the Networking Café and Leaflet Exchange 2 – 4pm.
Everyone who benefits from tourism in the Greater Exmoor area is welcome to come along whether you are the handyman, the restaurateur, the shopkeeper down the road or anyone else that might be interested.
Coffee and tea, courtesy of Miles Tea & Coffee, will be served from 11am and the AGM (11:30 - 1pm) will include presentations from Exmoor National Park, Hinckley Tourism Action Partnership and the South West Coast Path; partners that we work closely with to promote the Greater Exmoor Area.
In the afternoon (2 - 4pm) the popular Leaflet Exchange is a great opportunity to pick up literature to share with your visitors and speak to other local businesses. Come along to the Networking Café to have a chat with the Visit Exmoor team, and meet industry professionals including Max Lawrence, Director of Hospitality Assured. Rick Bond from My Favourite Holiday Cottages will be on hand to talk about how to make your accommodation more dog-friendly and members of Exmoor National Park will be available to answer any questions that you might have.
For those of you that will be travelling on the A39 from the Lynton/Lynmouth direction please be aware that Porlock Hill is closed for resurfacing. The Toll Road will be open, I believe, or the diversion will take you via Exford, so perhaps leave a little extra time to get here. If you are coming from the Minehead direction, you’ll be fine.
Please park in Porlock Village Car Park. You can cut through to the high street, turn right and the Village Hall is just a few hundred yards away.
