Minehead A39 coast road to Lynmouth; ascend 1 in 4 steep hill; signposted Lynton. Enter village on main road (Lee Road); drive 0.5 mile and turn immediately right after Tourist Information Centre; go up private drive and you will see Ingleside in front of you.

From Barnstaple station
Take bus for Lynton/Lynmouth - number 309 or 310; bus drives directly into Lynton and stops at town hall; walk past town hall towards valley of the rocks; take first right up private road; Ingleside Hotel sign and steps are 20 yards directly in front of you.
