A 17thC thatched cottage with two superking/twin rooms with en-suites, one having a single room for the extra guest in your party, should you require it. Enjoy our locally sourced produce, home made bread and preserves, freshly prepared for your breakfast.

Hartnells is a short two minute walk to Williton village centre, that has the servics of two banks, a post office and a variety of shops. There are several pubs which serve lunch, dinner or carvery meals and a good Indian restaurant. There are many other places to eat further afield that we can recommend.

The West Somerset Steam Railway passes through Williton on its way from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, running a timetable of classic engines and rolling stock. Their programme includes special events and themed weekends.

Williton is an excellent place to stay to walk the Quantock hills, Coleridge Way, West Somerset Coastal Path, Exmoor, and part of the MacMillan Way. We can also supply a deliver and collect service with 15 miles of Hartnells.

Road Directions

Head South West on the M5 until junction 23. Take the 2nd exit. Travel 700yrds down a dual carriageway. Go left signposted towards North Bridgwater. Go straight over the next roundabout and as you approach the first set of traffic lights turn right. The road is signposted A39 towards Minehead

Continue along this road for 17 miles. You will pass Bishopsgate Veterinary Surgery and we are the next cottage.

Public Transport Directions

From Taunton There is a regular bus service to Williton. During the summer season there is a bus link from Taunton station to Bishops Lydeard; a steam train from Bishops Lydeard to Williton with a 5 minute walk to Hartnells.
