Exmoor Lodge Guest House

Welcome to Exmoor Lodge, where we will do all we can to make your stay as pleasant and as peaceful as possible. A homely atmosphere prevails with your comfort and relaxation our top priority.

Our comfortable bedrooms are mostly en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, tasteful furnishings and views across the village green. We have a large TV lounge where you can curl up in front of a log fire and talk over your next day's activities. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden and evening meals are by arrangement, if required.

Exford is served by a post office, excellent local stores, a newsagent and petrol station as well as two pubs.

Situated in the very heart of Exmoor National Park, we are surrounded by stunning moorland scenery, crisscrossed by plenty of footpaths and bridle ways where you can roam and glimpse nature at its finest.

Walk, cycle fish or explore on horseback - there is so much to see and do locally.

We are open all year and welcome children and well-behaved pets.

Road Directions

From M5 Jcn 23 follow the A39 towards Minehead. Just before Minehead turn left at traffic lights to Dunster on A396. Continue to Wheddon Cross, turning right to Exford on B3224.

From M5 junction 27 - take the A361 towards Tiverton. Turn right at roundabout onto A396 (signposted Bampton, Dulverton). Follow A396 until just past Bridgetown. Take left turn to Winsford and Exford. Go straight on through Winsford and turn left at T-Junction with B3224 into Exford.

Bus service from Minehead via Dunster, Wheddon Cross into Exford.
