Home > Where To Stay > Exmoor House
For a thoroughly relaxing stay, with excellent food, come to Exmoor House. Thoughtfully-designed, spacious ensuite rooms, a friendly welcome and great attention to details make this a really special place (best hotel on Exmoor – The Guardian, July 2007).
The wood-panelled dining room, overlooking Dunkery Beacon, was originally a tailor’s shop and our TV-free guest sitting room (with a cosy log fire in winter) was built as the village reading room.
Our daily-changing dinner menu combines good local produce with expert cooking (we’ve been nominated for the UKTV Food Local Hero Award for two years running). There’s also a good range of wines, local beers and Somerset ciders for you to enjoy. Dinner, bed and breakfast packages offer great value.
In Exmoor’s highest village, we’re ideally placed for walking, cycling and exploring.
Planning a celebration or get-together? Ask about our house party package. Evening out? Join us for dinner (booking essential).
