Spring Festival of Football

The Easter and Spring Festival of Football was established in 1988, when 5000 people took part in the first event. Word spread and additional tournaments and venues were introduced in the following years.

The combination of a professionally organised football festival and a great family holiday proved very popular and half a million footballers and their families have now taken part in the Festivals.

The promise to you is that everything possible will be done to ensure that all teams have a truly memorable time at the Festival

Minehead Town Youth FC provide the playing venues. Teams from all over the country come to Minehead to participate in a three day festival of youth football. They book through the website address at the bottom of this page and stay at Butlins Holiday centre for the weekend - Friday through to Monday.

There are normally over 1000 boys and girls taking part with the Under 8-11s playing 7-a side games at Minehead Football Club. The remainder of the junior players Under 12- 16s play 11 a side games at either West Somerset Community College, Williton, Alcombe Rec and Porlock
