West Lodge is a recently refurbished former Gate Lodge, situated between Dunster and Wootton Courtenay, within the Exmoor National Park. The lodge is well placed for walking and cycling with Dunkery Beacon, Timberscombe Woods and Grabbist Coppice all within easy reach. Horse-riding can be found within a mile of the property. The medieval village of Dunster is within 2 miles and has a range of shops, pubs and cafes, as well as the National Trust owned Dunster Castle.
The Lodge sleeps 4 people and has a double bedroom with en-suite, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. The kitchen has a new electric AGA and seating for 4 people. The sitting room has a Woodburning Stove, Flat-screen TV and comfortable seating for 4 people.
