17th Century Inn popular with walkers, fishermen and farmers alike The Rockford Inn shelters in a spectacular gorge sandwiched between the wild windswept moors above and the rugged cliffs of the North Devon coastline. The pub is set in a remote valley deep in the heart of Exmoor, but just 4 miles up river from Lynton & Lynmouth. It's a great place to base yourself when exploring the wilds of Exmoor National Park.
It's a cosy pub, with exposed beams and heated by an open fire and wood burning stoves. We provide simple accommodation with 7 en-suite rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. The restaurant serves home-cooked foods prepared using local ingredients sourced by our chef Sarah.
Whether you are coming to stay with us or just to enjoy a meal and a pint on the riverside patio our manager, Cathryn, will endeavour to make you feel welcome.
