PARKSIDE Holiday Flats, in Minehead, make up a Grand Victorian House overlooking beautiful Blenheim Gardens and are only a few steps from the seafront and the start of the South West Coast Path. A few more steps from your front door takes you up the slopes of wooded North Hill, the "mynodd" (mountain) from which Minehead gets its name, and into Exmoor National Park. A few steps in another direction takes you to the town's ancient harbour with its rich maritime history and RNLI lifeboat station.
In the opposite direction along the seafront is the terminus of The West Somerset Railway, ready to carry you through the beautiful scenery of Exmoor, the Quantock Hills and Taunton Vale. PARKSIDE's location is quiet yet centrally located for the town centre as well, with its shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
All of our flats are comfy and welcoming, with fully equipped kitchens and electricity, heating and bed linens supplied as part of your holiday. There is a garden with lawn and seating for guests' use. The owners, Maurice and Laurie, are nearby to answer any questions you might have about Minehead and West Somerset. We can suggest places to go, things to do and even itineraries for days out. In advance of your stay visit our 'Minehead Happenings' blog on Wordpress (http://mineheadhappenings.wordpress.com/) to see what is happening during the week ahead.
PARKSIDE is a short walk from the Parade and Bancks Street bus stops, and Minehead has regular bus service onto Exmoor and along the coast.
PARKSIDE has its own private car park for guest use along with free parking on Blenheim Road. Either way, PARKSIDE Holiday Flats are the perfect base from which to explore West Somerset, the Exmoor coast and Exmoor National Park.
