Enjoy an Exmoor Safari in a Land Rover Discovery 3 which has the legendary off road ability of a LandRover, combined with the comfort of a luxury car.
· Our vehicle has larger windows than a typical Land Rover 110 giving better visability. The suspension on a LR 110 is firm leading to a bumpy ride which is why we use a Discovery 3 with a smooth suspension making your Exmoor Safari more enjoyable. The seats in the D 3 are more comfortable than the 110 with plenty of leg room for all passengers. Our vehicle has air conditioning so you can relax in a pleasent environment even in extreme weather conditions. Better suspension, comfortable seats and good leg room will all ensure a perfect journey with us.
· Each Exmoor Safari passenger has their own individual seat and we limit passengers to a maximum of 6 people so you will not be cramped, unlike some other operators who will take more.
We will show you the landmarks, explain the geology and how the landscape was formed, tell you about the farming practices ( learn about them from someone who has actually worked on many Exmoor farms ) the local customs and the tale of Lorna Doone.
The safari guide is Andrew Turner who is Somerset born and bred. He was brought up on Exmoor and lives there with his family. He will use his local knowledge to ensure you have the best chance of seeing the wildlife. He will also take you to the best vantage points to enjoy the panoramic scenery.
