Self-guided Historic Trails
Using the Minehead Town Trail app, follow one of the historic trails around the town to uncover its secrets. Some routes are suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.
Higher Town Trail
This climbs up to Higher Town where little has changed in a hundred years. This route involves a steep climb so is unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.
Middle Town Trail
Explore the heart of the town and find out how it was consumed by the great fire of Minehead. This route is level and well maintained so is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.
Quay Town Trail
Follow this route to find out about Minehead's maritime history. This route is mostly level - there are some steps which can be avoided.
The Parks Trails
These three trails follow the Bratton stream and are all level (there is one cobbled bridge to cross on the first section). Each takes about 45 mins.
