A midnight feast
What could be more romantic than dinner al fresco under a velvet sky and illuminated by a thousand shining stars? Pick a clear evening and the perfect partner and head to Wimbleball Lake in Somerset, an idyllic spot for a little night-time stargazing. Dark Sky guides and even telescopes can be hired at Exmoor National Park Centres, or you may prefer to pack a midnight feast, a warm blanket and just lie back and soak up the show. You might also try getting closer to the stars on Dunkery Beacon; the highest point on Exmoor.
