Gear Up for the South West Coast Path Challenge

Gear up for the South West Coast Path Challenge. 1-31 October.

Get your walking legs prepared for the third annual South West Coast Path Challenge taking place throughout the month of October.

This fundraising event is organised by the South West Coast Path Association in partnership with the National Trust to help care for our coastline alongside one of the region’s tourism gems, the South West Coast Path National Trail.

The aim is to encourage as many people as possible to clock up the miles and help beat the record set last year.

You can join one of the coastal walking events in October, starting with a 10-mile challenge from Minehead to Porlock on Saturday 7th October and finishing with the last leg of the 630-mile national trail from Durlston to South Haven Point on Saturday 28th October. The month-long series of events kicks off on 1st October with a trail run from Little Dartmouth to Dartmouth for the more energetic Coast Path enthusiast. This is followed by a series of shorter walks led by National Trust rangers.

Alternatively, set yourself a personal challenge and walk or run as much or as little of the Coast Path as you like. What will your challenge be?
